iQ Credit Union Corporate Headquarters

Located in the heart of Vancouver, the new headquarters for IQ Credit Union is now one of the most recognizable buildings in the downtown corridor. The complete transformation of this site included the demolition of an existing building adjacent to the four-story concrete framed office tower. Additionally, the former home to the City of Vancouver was completely gutted and underwent an extensive seismic upgrade.

Major upgrades were made to the building that makes it significantly more sustainable than the previous structure. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems were all redesigned to make the building more efficient. The new shell also included the replacement of all the window wall systems with a new energy efficient system. Additionally, the facility is now fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The first floor of the renovated building is now the flagship branch for IQ Credit Union. Floors two and three are office space for the business services department and general offices, while floor four houses the executive team for IQ Credit Union. The exterior of the building is highlighted by bright red canopies and the now familiar rotating IQ Credit Union sign sitting high atop the building’s roof.
